Tor Black arose from humble beginnings growing up in a small town in Tennessee called Gallatin, just outside of Nashville. His father was a College professor and Nuclear Control Specialist, and his mother was nurse and hospital administrator. Before the end of his teenage years, Black moved to Miami, and attended Miami Dade before continuing his education at Orlando College in addition to taking classes at Ringling School of the Arts. His major was Commercial Art, which allowed him the opportunity to earn 2 professional licenses with the state of Florida. Black later supervised work with the U.S. Government and Military in Okinawa, Japan, setting up a satellite system, as his thirst for knowledge, and his inspiration in education, continuously grows with every challenge he confronts.
